Welcome to a space designed to help you reconnect with your own soul and intuition amidst the day-to-day noise of everything.
In this realm of existence, it’s often difficult to find connection with the most powerful compass you have — your own soul.
We have our minds, which are wonderful tools. They offer us logic, reasoning, common sense, and problem-solving. Our minds analyze the data of everything around us and help us navigate life. They're skilled at weighing pros and cons, discerning what works and what doesn’t, what’s good for us and what’s not. They’ve often done an incredible job, especially in helping us survive difficult and even horrific situations.
This is where worry, anxiety, overthinking, and obsession often come from — the mind trying to protect us.
But there’s a larger picture that our soul can see, even when our mind cannot.
Life is like kayaking down a river in a deep canyon. Your soul is above the canyon, seeing the winding path ahead — while your awareness, through the mind, is down inside it. From there, you can barely even see past the next bend.
So when life throws something unexpected, it can send you into a tailspin of:
“What? Why? This doesn’t make sense. Why does nothing ever work out for me?”
Living a soul-based life isn’t about “no thought.”
Yes, there is wisdom in the ancient teachings from India of “no mind” and in the purpose of meditation — which is to quiet the mind.
These skills are meant to help us step back from our minds, to still them so we can become aware beyond racing thoughts, less identified with the noise, the worry and anxiety, and more connected to soul awareness — where we remember that the mind is a tool, not the master.
Soul-based, intelligent living is about wisdom.
Wisdom is the ability to appreciate and quiet the mind so you become the master — and the ability to connect with your intuition, which is your best compass.
I can’t tell you what truth is — and neither can the next website article, your mother, or the latest news clip.
We are bombarded with so much information these days.
We must find a way to feel what is true for us — to recognize what resonates, and what feels subtly off.
Connecting to our soul each day — allowing the heart to guide the mind — is a powerful step toward living with more depth, meaning, and ease.
There is much more to read on this coherence between hart and mind, especially with regards to the work and research done by the Heart-Math Institute. For more information around what they have discovered about heart-mind coherence visit their website at:
Your Meditation
For now, I’ve created a simple meditation you can use anytime, anywhere — to bring you back to yourself.
Even without the video, anytime you pause to breathe into your chest and focus inward, you’re coming home to yourself.
And that is always the best place you can be — in any moment, in any situation.
The breath is our bridge between form (body), matter (thought) and soul.
Focusing on your breath and your heart center helps you tune into your inner guidance, your stillness, your energy field.
May your day be held in a deep stillness within —
one that cannot be shaken, no matter what’s happening around you.
I wish this for you.
— Katie
There is a place beneath your thoughts that has never forgotten you.
You don’t need to try to find your soul —
You only need to be still long enough for it to recognize your return.
⧫⟐🜂𓂀⚘𓆩⟁𖤐⟁𓆪⚘𓂀🜂⟐⧫
You do not need to search.
Your soul has been waiting in the quiet all along.
You do not need to fix.
You only need to remember.
You do not need to try.
Just sit, breathe, and be —
and your soul will come forward, like a dawn that was never gone.

Take a breath.
Feel the body settle.
When you're ready, let your breath lead the way. 𓂀
Use this any time in the day to help you connect deeply with your own inner compass - your Inner Being.
